This is an absolutely stunning and rare 19th century half glazed mustard yellow confit pot. It is also glazed inside. It is rare to find these pots in such great condition and it is a really exceptional treasure.
This pot from the mid 1800's and they are highly collectable. They are from the south west of France and were used for storing duck during the winter months when they were placed in the ground outside up to the glaze line. They are fully glazed inside.
It measures 26cms/ 10.25 inches high
Please always look carefully at the photos where I have clearly shown all marks.
